The Goverment have announced that driving tests will commence after April 12th 2021. In line with the goverments road map for easing lockdown we will be looking at restarting lessons from April 12th. If we receive any guidence suggesting we can start back sooner we will update you. For now, you can learn to drive in England from April 12th 2012 and we will be contacting all our students to get them rebooked. If you are wanting to learn please dont hesitate getting in touch as their will be a significant back log but we will try to accomodate you were possible.
On average learner drivers need 25 - 30 hours of proffesional driving lessons with us. However this is just an average figure and you may need more or less hours than this depending on a number of factors.
The official data says on average it takes 45 hour of proffesional tuition and 22 hours of private practice. Rest assured at Red and Black Driving Academy we will get you through your test as quickly as possible whilst maintaining our high standards and making sure you are safe and confident to be on the roads.
Theres a reason students pass so quickly with us and why our first time pass rate is so high, we treat our students as individuals focusing on their strenghts and weaknesses to develop the skills to pass the driving test. Some driving schools only care about making as much money from their students as possible, we are not one of them driving schools.
Red and Black Driving Academy operate a 48 hour cancellation policy. You may cancel or rearange for free as long as you inform us 48 hour before your lessons otherwise we reserve the right to charge in full if cancelled under 48 hours.
Please call us as soon as possible in the event of cancellation so we can offer the lesson to another student.
